Everyone knows the song, The 12 days of Christmas. Here’s my version but changed to “The 28 days of Holiday Decorating” — On the 28th day of decorating my work proved to be:
1,615 pounds of greens arranged
450 feet of garland hung
62 pounds of red berries
53 boxes of lights used
31 bundles of red twigs
72 wreaths and swags hung
88 bows made
9 pairs of pruners
10 pairs of gloves
1 trailer sliding off the road
3 dents to prove it
and an eventful season for me!
This will be the last post of 2013, it’s been fun sharing pictures through the blog and I hope all of you have enjoyed it, looking forward to more in 2014. The blog will be quiet for awhile, it’s time for me to enjoy my boys while they are out of school and looking forward to spending Christmas at home in California with my family. I’ll finish off with a few pictures from some of the last projects done in December showing just a portion of the 1,615 pounds of greens arranged and the 72 wreaths that were hung!
