It’s June!?!

I can’t believe June is here!  May was such a whirlwind.  Lots of ups and downs with the weather.  A frost the week of Memorial Weekend really put a damper on things. Nothing major but some plants had cosmetic damage even though they were covered and/or put away. The “more” tender annuals couldn’t take the 34 degree temperature. That’s darn cold! Now it’s June and last night got down to 39 degrees, did I just say it’s June….come on, we shouldn’t be having temperatures like that!

I know it doesn’t look pretty but it is just cosmetic and the plants will make/or already have made a full recovery.

On a sunnier note, some beautiful plantings have been happening in the past two weeks. Here’s a few of my favorites!

I just realized all of the pictures are shade combos. That’s so weird, I guess I have a thing for shade flowers. I love all the different textures! Next time, I promise to post sun combos!
