April Showers Bring…

Floods to the Grand Rapids area! In the past 2 weeks we have received 9.1 inches of rain.  We broke the old record of 8.29 inches set 104 years ago!  That is the record for the most rainfall during the month of April. Well, we still have 12 days left in the month.

I have not written a new post in 2 weeks because I have literally been “under the weather”, not sick, but sick of working in the rain (and snow) for the past 12 days.  It’s hard to believe we are coming to the end of April and I have only gotten a small handful of spring plantings done. Many clients have asked me what kind of summer I think it will be… I decided to check the Farmer’s Almanac.  Cover your eyes if you don’t want to read the prediction for Michigan….cold and wet.  Uhhh, two words I am sick and tired of!

On the brighter side here’s a picture of a planter from LAST year at this time

Let’s hope the sang will come true!

We are only 13 days away from May.
